FileSolve Announces New President
Peter Ransome brings over 25 years of success in information management, enterprise content management, records management, business process outsourcing, and IT outsourcing.
FileSolve, a division of Patterson Pope, today announced that Peter F. Ransome was named its new president. A successful entrepreneur, CEO, and sales and marketing executive, Ransome brings over 25 years of success in information management, enterprise content management, records management, business process outsourcing, and IT outsourcing.
“Peter is a proven leader known for his motivational management style and success in managing and growing operations, sales teams, marketing departments and channel programs,” said Denny Hammack, CEO of Patterson Pope. “His experience with large publically traded companies and mid-sized organizations, as well as his success in new division creation, service line launching, and branding aligns with our company’s strategic direction.”
FileSolve has managed information for more than 17 years and is entering a new phase of aggressive expansion of its business process automation, outsourcing, and information governance offerings.
Ransome’s early career included sales, channel management, and marketing with Boyle Associates and Lason Systems, a publicly traded business process outsourcing company. He co-founded Active Data Services, a business process outsourcing company, where he served as executive vice president of sales and marketing, and CMO. After doubling the revenue in three years, Ransome and his partners sold to a strategic buyer, Diversified Information Technologies, Inc., now EDM Americas. For three years, Ransome served as vice president, channels and marketing before founding Ransome Associates, a consultancy focused on helping organizations address revenue growth challenges typically faced when markets mature or are disrupted.
Ransome graduated from the University of New Hampshire-Keene State College with a Bachelor of Arts in business management and an Associate of Science degree in computer science. He holds numerous industry certifications including CDIA+ (computer document imaging architect), ERM (enterprise records management) master, Laureate in Information Technology, and Masters in Information Technology.
An active participant in industry organizations and associations, Ransome has served as chairman of the professional advisory council AIIM, vice president of NYC AIIM Chapter, First in Flight AIIM Chapter president of Carolina’s (2002-2015), and AIIM Chapter board volunteer (Bay Area, Detroit, NYC, and Boston chapters). He was also a four-year board member: conference committee TAWPI (Transaction Automation and Workflow Procession Industry). Ransome has won highly respected industry awards such as AIIM 2015 Company of Fellows inductee and Distinguished Service Award (AIIM). He is a frequent speaker at industry events.
