Appian Expands U.S. Headquarters
BPM Software Leader Continues Global Growth in Response to Market Demand
Appian today announced it has moved to an expanded U.S. headquarters office in Reston, Virginia. The new location provides an additional 55,464 square-feet of office space to accommodate Appian’s dramatic headcount growth. In 2013, Appian hired more than 150 new employees. The company is on pace to exceed that number for 2014, having already hired more than 80 new employees this year.
Appian continues to ramp up its Professional Services, Engineering, and Sales teams in response to global demand for the Appian BPM Suite and its unique Work Platform capabilities. Leading organizations around the globe are turning to Appian for the rapid rollout of modern business applications that accelerate smarter decisions and actions by integrating enterprise data, process, mobility, collaboration and cloud computing. From insurance underwriting and claims management to pharmaceutical clinical trials, financial services administration, green energy production, manufacturing quality and environmental safety, electronic patient records, and retail services around the globe — Appian delivers the solutions that power today’s modern enterprises.
Appian’s new U.S. headquarters move follows recent company growth around the world. Appian regional offices have opened or expanded in London, France, Germany and Switzerland, in addition to continued success in the Asia-Pacific region led by Appian’s Australia regional headquarters in Sydney.
The Appian BPM Suite is a modern Work Platform that improves how work gets done across an organization. Appian discovers and unites enterprise data, connects users through social and collaborative engagement in the context of business data, and provides the leading BPM platform to execute business processes, enforce rules, and ensure all actions taken by users are in accordance with corporate policies and procedures. Appian delivers its full suite capabilities on-premise and in the cloud, on the desktop and natively on all major mobile device platforms.
“Appian has a thriving culture of innovation, transparency, collaboration, and accountability — the same qualities we deliver to our customers through our software,” said Matt Calkins, President and CEO at Appian. “We have designed our new US headquarters to support and reflect these same qualities as well, through things like glass-walled offices, low cubes, sleek design and plenty of communal space.”
