Everteam Announces Changes in Executive Leadership in Support of Global Expansion

Experienced operations executive Firas Raouf to lead next phase of company’s growth; Founder Béchara Wakim to become Executive Chairman of the Board

Everteam announced today their Board of Directors has appointed Firas Raouf as Chief Executive Officer, based in Boston. Mr. Raouf succeeds founder Béchara Wakim, who will remain on Everteam’s Board of Directors as the newly appointed Executive Chairman.

“Acting as my advisor during our recent acquisition of Intalio, Firas has already played a critical role in the shaping of Everteam’s expansion strategy. He’s an exceptional operator and leader, passionate about our mission, and knows how to build a high performance software business,” said Béchara Wakim, Everteam’s Executive Chairman. “As Executive Chairman, I look forward to supporting Firas and his team as we expand globally to realize the full potential of Everteam.”

Everteam recently acquired business process management (BPM) vendor Intalio as part of a long term strategy to expand into North America. The integration of Everteam’s industry-leading Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions with the Intalio BPM technology will provide customers with the agile solutions for effective business and content management that have eluded enterprise IT for years.

“I am honored and excited to lead Everteam in our mission to simplify how the world connects processes and content to drive better business results.,” said Firas Raouf, CEO of Everteam. “Béchara has been instrumental in enabling the potential of Everteam. I will look to him for mentorship, as well as leverage his extensive market knowledge and mergers and acquisition expertise.”

Mr. Raouf comes to Everteam with a unique combination of software operations and venture capital experience. Most recently he has been founder of [N]squared Advisory, a consultancy that enabled non-US based software companies to establish operations in the US. In that role, Mr. Raouf provided hands-on support with building company operations, including strategic resource prioritization, go-to-market planning, and optimization of financial metrics. His previous clients included ProofHQ (recently acquired by Workfront), and Xink.

Prior to [N]squared, Mr. Raouf was a founding partner at OpenView Venture Partners in Boston. While at OpenView, Mr. Raouf led investments in seven high growth expansion stage software companies, four of which were acquired successfully and three which continue on a high growth track. Prior to OpenView, Mr. Raouf was co-founder and COO of three startups based in California including eEye Digital Security, eCompany, and eHook.

At the conclusion of the recent Intalio acquisition, Everteam now operates worldwide with offices in the United States, France, Lebanon, and Singapore.
