Alliance to Help Toshiba e-STUDIO Customers Improve Workflow, Reduce Paper

Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. today announces its partnership with Boca Raton, Fla. advanced data extraction software development firm, PSIGEN Software, Inc. Under terms of the agreement, Toshiba now offers its end users PSIGEN’s flagship products PSI:Capture and PSI:Fusion software.

By integrating PSIGEN’s software within Toshiba’s industry-leading e-STUDIOTM multifunction products (MFPs), its customers have the capability to extract valuable data from scanned documents and export the information to more than 50 industry enterprise content management and document management systems. While this automation improves business workflow, it also reduces paper consumption and virtually eliminates manual data entries. Upon capturing documents, PSIGEN’s software enables Toshiba’s array of end users – from small-to-mid-size businesses to enterprise accounts – to share information with internal departments to better streamline business processes.

PSIGEN’s software is currently being successfully implemented large and small companies alike including Microsoft, Valerus and Park Place Mattress. PSIGEN’s advanced capture and workflow management software will be available through Toshiba’s nationwide network of direct and independent resellers.

“As our team is always on the lookout for solutions to improve our end users’ business processes, we continuously seek partners with leading and innovative offerings to help them meet this objective,” said Toshiba America Business Solutions Chief Marketing Executive, Bill Melo. “Considering our mission to bolster customers’ business efficiencies while further improving their return on investment, we are pleased to align with PSIGEN.”

“Since the start of our relationship about six months ago, we have enjoyed the collaborative nature of our relationship and look forward to helping Toshiba’s customer base better streamline their workflow processes while also allowing their end users to operate in a more sustainable fashion,” said PSIGEN President, Bruce Hensley.  “While this is the first step in our partnership, we look forward to benefiting Toshiba’s array of end users in 2014 and beyond.”
