Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. today announces that it has acquired Results Engineering, an enterprise content management (ECM) solution provider, to support and to further expand the company’s ECM business practice’s growth strategy.

As a wholly-owned subsidiary, Results Engineering will become a part of Konica Minolta’s ECM business practice and will market under the Konica Minolta brand. The primary office location in Westerville, OH, will continue to support central U.S. markets, as well as house the company’s management and administrative staff.

“This strategic acquisition expands our ECM practice with the addition of the highly-skilled team of product development, solutions design and consulting professionals from Results Engineering,” says Sam Errigo, senior vice president, Business Intelligence Services, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. “We will continue to support Results Engineering’s custom solutions, including CourtBase™ for the courtroom environment and legacy ECM migration tools, while building on our already-solid portfolio of services and solutions with additional innovative workflow products that support our customers’ key organizational processes.”

Results Engineering offers end-to-end ECM solutions including consulting services, software, product development and solutions designed to help companies of all sizes reduce costs and improve efficiency. The company, established in 1993, prides itself on decades of experience spent shaping the ECM industry by providing unparalleled customer service, and technical and business expertise that continually delivers value to clients.

“We are excited to combine Results Engineering’s 17 years of OnBase™ technical experience and support capabilities with Konica Minolta’s global resources and scope of products,” says Greg Boyd, president, Results Engineering. “With this acquisition, our combined teams will be able to share best practices and resources to further expand our ECM business, giving our customers an even-greater suite of products and support.”

Konica Minolta’s commitment to the development of a national ECM practice, vertical market expertise, Managed IT Services, application development, and more than 120 branch office locations across the country are some of the reasons that Results Engineering has joined the organization.
