docSTAR Acquires DocuLex Document Management Product Suite From Protected Trust LLC
docSTAR, a division of Astria Solutions Group LLC, announced today that it has acquired the DocuLex suite of document management products of Winter Haven, Florida-based Protected Trust LLC. The asset acquisition will complement and extend docSTAR’s existing ECM portfolio and installed base and will add more than 1,000 mid-size to enterprise-level clients to docSTAR’s current installed base of nearly 7,000 organizations.
According to Thomas Franceski, President of Astria Solutions Group, “We are excited to welcome the DocuLex customers to the docSTAR family. There are strong synergies between the two organizations that we intend to leverage to increase the value we provide to each customer. Franceski continued, “docSTAR’s products and solutions have been in the marketplace for 20 years and have been well received by multiple industries. DocuLex customers can be confident about our product knowledge, professionalism and dedication to providing a great customer experience.” Franceski added that current DocuLex customers will be supported on their existing platform into the foreseeable future.
docSTAR intends to supplement organic growth with targeted acquisitions similar to the DocuLex transaction. The company experienced strong growth (30%) in 2013 from the introduction of its cloud-based ECM offering and next generation Smart AP Automation solution.
