Xamcor and DIR Form Partnership to Serve Information Management Industry
Xamcor portal to increase coverage of market
Hauppauge, NY – January 21, 2014 – Xamcor, Inc., an M&A company specializing in the information management industry, has signed a partnership agreement with Ralph Gammon, Editor and Publisher of the Document Imaging Report (DIR). Under the agreement, Gammon’s primary role will be in contributing to Xamcor’s “Industry Buzz” section of its Web site, as well as conducting regular interviews with leading industry executives that will be available to registered users.
Xamcor was launched in 2012. Its principals include ECM industry veterans Paul Carman and Harvey Spencer, as well as Ike Fattal, who has a strong background in finance, deal structuring and M&A.
Paul Carman, President & CEO of Xamcor said, “The ECM, EIM, DM, and related industries are maturing and undergoing change and consolidation. As a result there is increasing need for vendor companies to position, expand, and partner with others from within or outside the industry. Xamcor is set up to help information companies meet these dynamic challenges and increase profitability and value. Ralph is a well known and relied on source of information for vendors in document imaging and related technology areas and can help Xamcor with expanding content and contacts”.
“I’m looking forward to working with a dynamic organization like Xamcor,” said Gammon, who has been editor of DIR since 1998 and the publisher since 2002. “The document imaging market is maturing and ripe for M&A activity. I am looking forward to working with Xamcor to enhance the industry related content and M&A news available through its portal and help companies find good M&A strategic fits.”
Gammon stressed that his duties with DIR will remain separate from his work for Xamcor. “Of course, I will be leveraging my contacts and publishing skills for both organizations,” he noted. “However, anything told to me in confidentiality as part of Xamcor discussions will not show up in the pages of DIR. That is guaranteed and Harvey, Ike, and Paul all agree with me on the importance of maintaining this separation.”
